Optase Moist Heat Mask

Introduction:

OPTASE® MOIST HEAT MASK is a warm compress for the soothing and effective relief of styes, dry eye, blepharitis and blocked glands.

The OPTASE® MOIST HEAT MASK is recommended for the management and relief of Dry Eye Disease (DED), Blepharitis, Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD), Chalazions and Styes. The OPTASE® Moist Heat Mask can also be used as a cold compress to relieve symptoms of Ocular allergies, red eyes and irritation.

OPTASE® MOIST HEAT MASK features HydroBead Technology to absorb moisture from the air and release a constant, natural, moist heat. The mask comes packaged in a protective drawstring bag and if recommended for daily use, it is recommended to replace the OPTASE® MOIST HEAT MASK after 6 months.

Precautions:

• Avoid use with sensitive skin or open wounds
• Should not be used by patients with poor circulation, a reduced ability to feel sensation related to diabetes, recent eye surgery or other factors
• Not recommended for use whilst sleeping

How it works:

The OPTASE® MOIST HEAT MASK incorporates HydroBead® technology to act as an energy container, allowing it to transfer both hot and cold thermal energy.

The OPTASE® MOIST HEAT MASK is designed to provide effective relief from dry eye and other related eye conditions. It features HydroBead Technology, which absorbs moisture from the air and releases a natural, constant, moist heat.

This moist moist heat therapy loosens the lipids in the meibomian glands, allowing these oils to flow more freely, and helps soften eyelash debris. The application of moist heat helps to prevent the evaporation of the natural tear film whilst restoring moisture to the eyes and surrounding areas.

Each application of the OPTASE® MOIST HEAT MASK will provide the recommended 10 minutes of moist heat therapy.
