Composition:

Ectoin®, Hydroxyethyl Cellulose, Sodium Chloride, Water, and Citrate Buffer

How it works:

OPTASE® Allergy Eye Drops contain Ectoin®, a natural cell-protective molecule with inflammation-reducing and membrane-stabilizing properties.

OPTASE® Allergy Eye Drops is an isotonic solution and can be used to treat and prevent symptoms of allergic conjunctivitis. Itchy, red, or watery eyes can effectively be alleviated.

Ectoin is a natural substance gained from microorganisms that live in an extreme environment (e. g. salt lakes).

• Ectoin increases the binding of water at the cells of the ocular surface. This forms a physiologic barrier on the conjunctiva against allergenic acting substances
