Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic autoimmune disease characterized by a symmetrical and destructive joint inflammation. This common systemic disease has many ocular manifestations.

Ms Nikolina Budimlija will discuss the ocular effects of RA including ocular surface issues and inflammation. She will also outline the systemic signs of RA. Her presentation will help eyecare professionals understand RA as a systemic disease and how to manage its ophthalmic impact on patients.
