Optase HYLO Relief

Introduction:

OPTASE® HYLO RELIEF is a dry eye drop recommended to relieve dryness of the eye and to prevent further irritation.

OPTASE® HYLO RELIEF contains Glycerin to relieve symptoms of burning, dryness or foreign-body sensation caused by dry or air conditioned environments, while also offering long lasting protection for patients eyes.

OPTASE® HYLO RELIEF contains no alcohol, no preservatives and no ingredients of animal origin. OPTASE® HYLO RELIEF can be used with contact lenses.

Composition:

Active ingredient: Glycerin 0.25%
Inactive ingredients: Borax, Boric Acid, Citric Acid Anhydrous, Sodium Chloride, Sodium Citrate Dihydrate, Sodium Hyaluronate, Water.

Recommended For:

• Mild to moderate dry eye
• Contact lenses related dry eye
• Eyes that are dry, burning or have foreign body sensations due to environmental conditions
• Lubrication of the ocular surface post surgery

Suitable for:

• Contact lens wearers
• Post-Surgery eye dryness
• Concomitant use with other eye drops
• Patients that need a product that is preservative, alcohol and phosphate free
• Patients who have struggled to use other types of bottles e.g. squeezy bottles

How it works:

OPTASE® HYLO RELIEF is an eye lubricant containing Glycerin that relieves symptoms of dry eye and offers long lasting protection for the eyes.

Glycerin is a humectant (moistening agent) that comes from plant sources.

• Glycerin reduces the damaging effects of high osmolarity on the ocular surface
• Glycerin and other natural compounds protects the surface of the eye

The special formulation provides comfort from mild to moderate dry eye symptoms.

Hyaluronic Acid is a natural substance found in many organs of the human body.

• Its unique property is that it forms a regular, stable and long lasting film on the eye surface that is not easily rinsed off
• It does, however, not cause blurred vision

Comes in the HYLO® Delivery System, an innovative multi-use drop bottle that provides 300 calibrated drops and maintains sterility over 6 months, once opened, without the need for preservatives.
